Today I'd like to tell you about my most favourite dictionaries.
The third place goes to "Cambridge Dictionary". I like it's defenitions and that it has two variants of transcription.
And the second dictionary, which I like the most is "Macmillan Dictionary". It is a really great dictionary! Firslty, it has 'collocation boxes' giving list of high-frequency collocates. Secondly, I love it's 'metaphor boxes', showing how the vocabulary used for expressing common concepts tends to reflect a common metaphorical framework.
On the first place I have "Urban Dictionary". It always has its finger on the pulse of of-the-moment expressions and can be humorous and thought-provoking.
